Safety Meeting Report

EQUIPMENT:

All HUFF and SONS equipment is to be maintained so it is safe to use. ONLY EMPLOYEES OF HUFF AND SONS ARE ALLOWED TO USE HUFF AND SONS EQUIPMENT. Report all defective and or damaged equipment to Foreman or Superintendent. Any piece of equipment that is unsafe to use and still on the job site should be TAGGED and LOCKED OUT. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY EQUIPMENT WHEN USING POWER TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.

TRUCKS AND FORKLIFTS; ARE TO BE OPERATING BY SPECIFIED LICENSED EMPLOYEES. NO SPEEDING. OBSERVE ALL TRAFIIC RULES AND LAWS. FORKLIFTS shall go no faster then 15 MPH.

MIXERS; Never stick hands or shovels in mixing drum while engine is running. When filling with fuel, use only fuel cans or pumps, NO SIPHONING.

GROUT PUMPS; Never stick hands in hopper or output pipes while engine is running. Wear eye and ear protection while operating pump.

GENERATORS; Make sure generators are sitting level and unable to move via vibration. When filling with fuel, use only fuel cans or pumps, NO SIPHONING.

POWER SAWS; Make sure blades are attached firmly and properly. Inspect electrical cords (if any) for cuts or separations.

CHIPPING HAMMERS and ROTARY HAMMERS; Make sure bits are attached to chuck properly. Inspect electrical cords (if any) for cuts or separations.

REBAR CUTTERS; Make sure hands are clear before cutting or bending rebar with cutter.
